Sugar Land Skeeters Game at Constellation Field - August 19, 2015

On August 19, about 30 TIHAA members, their families and extended family and friends attended the Sugar Land Skeeters ball game at Constellation
Field. This was a drive-yourself day trip of sorts.

The weather turned out perfect, except for high humidity. Arriving early, being among the first 1000 to enter, we accepted our free duffel bag and tumbler courtesy of
the Texas Lottery Commission.

Cans of Coca-Cola Zero were offered as free refreshment.
It was sparse attendance overall - 2895. The tickets were situated generally along the far first base side. Glancing around, familiar faces were scattered among two sections. And certainly our ticket prices were right - free courtesy of the City of Sugar Land.

The game itself was well played, a competitive game. The Bridgeport Bluefish scored early, with both teams continuing to score intermittently throughout the first seven innings.

But in the end the Skeeters pulled off a 7 to 5 victory that was capped off in the 8th inning with a solo home run by Johan Limonta (outfield). Everyone stood and cheered! The very large Texas map-shaped scoreboard lit up like July 4th fireworks.
